And the winner is

Eminent Army, in the GPL 3 Man event.  Eminent Army, th espeedball team for Eminent Paintball, won in commanding fashion this past weekend at the GPL.  We played in the 3 Man event and won 14 out of 15 games.  Several of our games were under 30 seconds in length and most were under 1 minute.  For anyone who does not know speedball, that is VERY fast.

During the event, the Eminent Army got re-aquainted with our friends at GPL, Kee, Valken and our fellow players from PBNation.  The prizes were very generous and we won 3 new markers, 3 custom jerseys and custom jerseys.

Eminent Army is comprised of Brian Chaffee, owner of Eminent Paintball, Anthony Mills, former owner of EJAM Paintball and Evan B, a local High School student.  Eminent Army is always looking for talented players.  We are also always looking for people to teach and play with.  Every Sunday, we will be leaving the store at noon and playing at New Breed Paintball.  Come on out and play with a number 1 team.

Charity auction and GPL

Two things to report.  We have donated a paintball outing to Junior Achievement of New Jersey.  Please check out all the great items at the auction, and maybe bid on the outing.  It is a great cause.

Next, the Eminent Army will be making its debut at the April 24th GPL 3 man event.  The Eminent Army currently has an elisted base of 3 people, making it the 2,385th largest army in the world.  It is true, check out the web if you don't belive us.

So please go to the auction for Junior Achievement and bid on some items to help out a worthy cause and come see us and cheer us on at the GPL this weekend.

The store will be open normal hours on Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday we will be leaving to New Breed at noon, just like last week.  Come down, get paint, let's go play paintball!

Paintball Guns Under $65! Why this is a bad idea

Many Internet sites, like Paintball Online offer amazing deals on paintball guns for under $65!  How could you go wrong?  Easily.  Many of these low end markers are poorly designed and cheaply fabricated.  You may get an inexpensive marker that may or may not work for a length of time.  Most likely, you will play with this item once or twice before it breaks and is not worth fixing, requiring you to purchase a new marker, or worse yet, stop playing.

In paintball, like all other things in life, you get what you pay for.  That is why, we only sell reputable equipment, that we vouch for.  At Eminent Paintball, we do not sell everything paintball related.  We only sell products we are comfortable standing behind.  Unlike Internet only retailers, we see our customers face to face.  We care about your enjoyment. We want you to have quality products.  We stand behind every item we sell.

In our store, you will find quality paintball markers, but starting at around $100, which is truly the bottom price point for a marker we are comfortable selling.  Yes, it is a little more than the WalMart marker or one from any of the other "Cheapo"Internet web sites, but it is one that you can buy from us, and we will stand behind, for as long as you own it.

So do yourself the favor, think about the true cost of owning an inferior product.  Think about the value of visiting a trusted local retailer who can give you advice, help with the maintenance, and stand behind the product you purchase.

As a policy, we will match Internet pricing on equipment.  We offer lifetime warranty on marker purchases for a small fee, but even without that warranty, we will always help you with any item you have purchased from us.
